The Yankees are trying to find an angle that will allow them to get rid of Jason Giambi after his grand jury testimony was released, where he said he used steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs, according to the New York Daily News.

The San Francisco Chronicle has received a transcript of the BALCO grand jury proceedings from Dec. 11, 2003 in which Jason Giambi admits to using steroids, human growth hormone, and other performance-enhancing drugs. Giambi said he received steroids from Greg Anderson, the personal trainer for Barry Bonds, in 2002, but admitted that he had been using steroids before meeting Anderson or hearing of BALCO. Giambi's younger brother Jeremy Giambi also admitted to similar offenses. The brothers said they were drawn to Anderson because of his success working with Barry Bonds.
