The Twins have picked up their $12 million, 2007 option on Torii Hunter, according to ESPN.com. Hunter has said that he is willing to talk about a contract this winter, but after that he would wait until becoming a free agent after the 2007 season.

He believes the broken left ankle that cost him the final two months of the 2005 season also caused him to be cautious and run flat-footed this year, which led to the stress fracture.
