Royals reliever Ron Mahay has recovered from the plantar fascitis in his left foot, and is slated to be activated from the DL on Tuesday, according to the Kansas City Star.

As expected, Ron Mahay has officially been placed on the 15-day DL due to a case of plantar fascitis in his left foot, according to the KC Star. Kyle Davis took his place on the roster when recalled from Triple-A Omaha.

Ron Mahay is once again dealing his pain in his left foot, according to the KC Star. The reliever reported some day-after soreness in his left foot after pitching Friday for the first time since August 6. He was diagnosed with plantar fascia, which results in discomfort to the heel and bottom of the foot. He said, "It’s a little step back. I hope it’s only a little step. I’ve never had this before. I’m learning as I go with this."

I don't know what to tell you. My name's been floating around, but nothing's been done." Ron Mahay worked out of an impressive jam on Sunday. He came in to relieve starter Kyle Davies with no outs and runners on second and third. The left-hander struck out Carlos Pena, retired Willy Aybar on an infield popup and got pinch-hitter Jonny Gomes to fly out to left to end the inning.
