The catcher was removed from Tuesday's game in the sixth inning after feeling a recurrence of the stiffness in the shoulder that has plagued him recently. He'll have an MRI Wednesday. When asked how the shoulder feels, Posada responded: "Dead. It's like I've got no strength." The Royals stole four bases Tuesday off Posada, and manager Joe Girardi acknowledged that having Posada behind the plate would now be a weakness. Journeyman Chad Moeller is at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and would likely get called up should Posada need a DL stint. It sounds pretty likely that may be the route the Yankees take.
