Brian Giles had four hits including an eighth-inning solo home run that tied the score 2-2 against the Brewers on Friday. It was just his 11th home run of the season.

It was a day off for Brian Giles today but he would play a role in the Padres 5-4 win against the Diamondbacks. Giles pinch-hit in the eighth inning and singled then scored the game-tying run on Chase Headley's single.
