Juan Encarnacion was given his second straight day off on Sunday to rest a sore left shoulder. He has decided to undergo surgery after the season, and since the Marlins are out of the playoff hunt he has to be considered a question mark for the final week of the season.

After the season wraps up, Juan Encarnacion will decide whether he will undergo surgery on his left shoulder, according to the Sun-Sentinel. An MRI showed that he has a damaged labrum in the back of the joint and two bone spurs in the front.
