Eric Chavez has been bothered by inflammation in the back of his right shoulder as of late, according to the AP. Chavez had an MRI exam Monday that revealed significant wear and tear. He will serve as the team's DH for the next few days and might play the field again on Friday. "It just got to the point they decided a couple days would be pretty good," Chavez said. "Ever since I got here, I've had shoulder problems. I have to maintain and play through it. It's not going to get cured."
