Gabe Kapler is going to ride the pine tonight against Mets' righty Nelson Figueroa, according to MLB.com. He will sit in favor Gabe Gross, but will start the next two games against the Mets' lefties. Kapler is clearly the better hitter in the two-man platoon in center field, as he holds a .389 average over 18 at-bats, with two homers and six RBI.
