Toronto RHP Roy Halladay enjoyed a strong evening on the mound, though the lack of offensive support left the Blue Jays with a 3-5 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. Halladay worked eight full innings, throwing just 107 pitches (67 for strikes), allowing five runs (all earned) on nine hits. Halladay failed to surrender a home run, allowed just one walk and struck out four.
