The Rangers posted six runs on 10 hits this evening to put the win on the Oakland A's, 6-4, a charge bolstered by the efforts of a strong offensive push by the top of the Texas batting order. The top four batters combined to go 9-for-16 to score five of the six runs on the board, led by DH Milton Bradley . Bradley went 2-for-2 with two walks, hitting his fifth home run of the season as well as his 10th double of the season, totaling three RBIs on the night.

Milton Bradley played outfield on Tuesday for the first time all spring and the first time since tearing the ACL in his right knee last September. He will jog out to right field again on Wednesday but is expected to open the year as a DH, the Dallas Morning News reports. Frankly, it's pretty surprising that Bradley will be ready to start the year at any spot.

Milton Bradley is scheduled to make his first Cactus League appearance as a designated hitter on Friday night against the Angels, according to the team website. Bradley is recovering from Sept. 27 surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. It's believed that Bradley won't be near 100 percent until mid-April but the team is considering playing him as he rehabs. The Rangers were hoping that Bradley would be ready to play the outfield before they left Arizona, but their final game here is a week from Thursday. Bradley probably won't be ready to play the outfield until Wednesday at the earliest.

Milton Bradley will finally get some at-bats in minor league games later this week or early next week, according to MLB.com. He will do so as a DH, not a right fielder. Bradley will be the Rangers' starting right fielder this season, but the team isn't sure he'll be ready for the opener. If he isn't ready, Kevin Mench could fill in for him in right.

Milton Bradley will likely begin to serve as a DH in minor league games starting March 12th in his attempt to return to the field from the ACL tear he suffered late last season, this according to MLB.com. "There's nothing I want to rush with Milton. I want him to be right because if he's right, he's going to be productive," manager Ron Washington said. Washington also said that, barring a setback, that Bradley should be able to see some time in the OF before the team leaves camp. Bradley, a big time risk to do the injury factor, could be an all-star if he could ever remain healthy.

The newly acquired outfielder is coming off surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee. Bradley is close to 100 percent and participated in all of the team drills expect full speed sprints. "I'll be out there on Opening Day in some capacity," Bradley said. Owners will be cautious of spending anything other than a mid-to-late round pick on Bradley due to his durability history.
