Orioles manager Sam Perlozzo said he has Ramon Hernandez's name penciled in for today's game, according to the Baltimore Sun. "Penciled," Perlozzo said. "With an eraser." Hernandez was limited to pinch-hitting duties Saturday after being hit on his left ankle during Friday's contest.

The Baltimore Sun reports that Ramon Hernandez expects to return to action tonight. He left Monday's game after being hit on his right knee with a foul tip. "It's nothing serious," Hernandez said. "It's like a muscle bruise, that's all. It's sore when you have to squat. If I just had to stand up, I'd be fine."

Even though Ramon Hernandez batted eighth on Wednesday and sixth on Thursday, manager Sam Perlozzo is not going to bat Hernandez at the bottom of the order for an extended period of time, according to the Orioles website. "Last night, against a right-hander, I thought we could take a little pressure off him and move him down a little lower," said Perlozzo of Hernandez, who hit two home runs last night. "[With a] left-hander, move him up a little bit. We're just trying to get him going again. As soon as he starts hitting again, he's going to pop right back up where he belongs."
