Millwood's scheduled start on Friday night was skipped because of a strained right biceps that forced him to leave his last start on July 2. Manager Buck Showalter said that Millwood will return soon after the All-Star break.

However, it's possible that the Rangers will still hold Millwood out of his start on Friday as a precaution. With the All-Star break coming up, that would allow Millwood to get 10+ days of rest between starts.
