David Ortiz said that he is feeling better but that he is not yet at 100%, according to the Boston Globe. Its not an easy injury to deal with, he said. But other than that, I feel fine. I think Im where Id like to be. Im not going to lie to you. Im not 100 percent. But Im close.

David Ortiz went 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI, and a run for Double-A Portland on Monday. He is on the DL due to a torn tendon sheath in his left wrist. The Red Sox plan to activate him on Friday.

David Ortiz took a day off from his rehab assignment on Sunday, and is expected to resume play tonight with the Double-A Sea Dogs, according to the Boston Globe.

David Ortiz belted his third home run Saturday in as many rehab games for Triple-A Pawtucket. Big Papi has been sidelined since he partially tore the tendon sheath in his left wrist.
