Odalis Perez once again pitched well enough to win, but received no run support as the Nationals fell 5-0 to Brandon Backe and the Houston Astros on Sunday afternoon.

The AP reports that Odalis Perez was ejected in the third inning for arguing the second balk called against him. After the call, he charged toward the umpire, and was quickly ejected. The left-hander had to be restrained by umpires and coaches, including manager Manny Acta.

Odalis Perez was strong in his second start off the disabled list. The Nationals southpaw, who spent three weeks on the DL due to tendinitis in his left shoulder, allowed one run and five hits in 6.2 innings of Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Marlins. Perez was not involved in the decision.

According to the Washington Post, "Odalis Perez, 30, will get the starting nod on Friday night against the Orioles at Nationals Park. Perez has been rehabbing a sore shoulder.

Odalis Perez has been activated from the 15-day DL following a bout with tendinitis in his pitching shoulder, according to the AP. The team placed Shawn Hill on the 15-day DL, as a corresponding move.
