He's been turning down bunt signals and has lacked aggressiveness on the base paths. "If you're asking me, 'Is Jimmy our shortstop?' - yes, Jimmy's the shortstop," manager Larry Bowa said. "But Jimmy's got to do a little bit better than he's doing."

Phillies manager Larry Bowa bumped Jimmy Rollins from leadoff to eighth in the batting order yesterday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "He pretty much gave me a warning," Rollins said. Rollins, hitting just .125 on the season, said he has reviewed tape of his swing and thinks it should help him get out of his slump. "I'm not getting my front foot down in time," he said. "When you're late you're not going to see the ball, and you're making late decisions."
