Hitting just .148 (4-for-27) over the previous six games, Jimmy Rollins was held out of last night's contest, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Alex Gonzalez started in place of Rollins. "Jimmy's in a little funk. He's pulling off the ball and he needs to get a breather," manager Charlie Manuel said. "And I definitely need to get Alex in the field. I need to get [David] Dellucci in there, too. To get something out of our bench, they've got to play sometime." Rollins, who has been bothered by blisters on his hands, said he welcomed the night off.
