Shawn Chacon allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks but didn't seem overly concerned, this according to MLB.com. “I was ahead of the hitters. I threw strikes. They didn’t hit me hard. A bunch of bloopers,” said Chacon, Houston’s fourth starter. “It was one of those days where the wind was messing with the ball. More often than not I’m going to come out of there without giving up that many runs.” Well it's not like he was pitching in a wind tunnel. Nothing like taking the responsibility for your performance Shawn. We'll be interested to see what excuse he comes up with in two months when his numbers are merely average.
