| November 28, 2006 ESPN reports that the Cardinals have signed Adam Kennedy to a three-year deal worth $10 million. He'll play second base for the Cards, although he could lose at-bats to Aaron Miles against lefties. Kennedy hit just .193 against lefties in 2006, compared to .291 against right-handers. |
| November 2, 2006 The LA Times reports that the Angels won't attempt to re-sign Adam Kennedy over the offseason. However, GM Bill Stoneman did state that the team may be open to a short-term deal. "I told him if he doesn't find a deal to his liking, and he'd be interested in coming back on a short-term contract, we'd be open to that," Stoneman said. Kennedy has reportedly already drawn interest from several teams. |
