Randy Wolf didn't flat out say he would sign a deal to remain in Houston this off-season but he did say he would give it some serious consideration, according to The Houston Chronicle. “A few weeks ago I had a short conversation with Ed (Wade) and talked about what I thought of it here and if I’d be open to playing here,” he said. “Like I’ve said, I think … yes definitely.”
September 24, 2008
Randy Wolf shutout the Reds on Wednesday night over 6.2 innings to earn his 12th win of the season. He scattered eight hits and two walks while striking out seven batters.
September 19, 2008
Randy Wolf continued his domination of the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday. He got the win after tossing seven innings of one-run ball. He allowed just three hits and struck out seven.

One wouldn't expect Randy Wolf and Ian Snell to be battling it out in a pitchers dual, but that very well could be the case tonight. The Astros' September OPS of .651 is a Major League worst, and Pittsburgh's .705 mark isn't much better, fifth from the bottom. Randy Wolf has been good in his nine career starts against the Pirates; 6-1 with a 3.64 ERA, and Ian Snell best outing, a quality start in early September, was against the Astros.
September 14, 2008
Randy Wolf looked awful on Sunday as he allowed six hits and five runs (four earned), while recording just eight outs against the Cubs in his 12th loss of the year.
