Mike Redmond has been hitting so well early this season that Marlins manager Jack McKeon said he plans to continue splitting the work behind the plate between Redmond and Ramon Castro, according to the Sun-Sentinel. "I've got a No. 1 catcher, Castro or Redmond," McKeon said. "We're happy playing both of them. As we said from spring training, nobody is going to be the exact No. 1 unless someone gets going. We'll try to keep them both sharp because they both can contribute." Redmond, however, sustained a chip fracture of his left pinkie last night and could miss some games as a result.
