The White Sox re-signed utilityman Pablo Ozuna to a one-year deal worth $800,000, according to Sports Ticker. Ozuna hit .328 with two home runs in 189 at-bats for the White Sox this past season.

Pablo Ozuna will platoon in left field with Scott Podsednik for the rest of the season, according to the AP. "Against a lefty, (Ozuna) will be in the lineup," manager Ozzie Guillen said. "(We'll) try to (put him in) because every time this kid plays, he makes things happen." Ozuna his hitting .336 against lefties this year.

The Daily Soutthown reports that White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said the strained left hamstring that's been bothering Pablo Ozuna had improved enough that the utilityman was available to play Tuesday, if needed. It looks like he'll be able to avoid a trip to the disabled list.

White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said the team will decide in the next couple of days whether Pablo Ozuna will be placed on the DL, according to the AP. Ozuna aggravated a hamstring on Friday and is available only on an emergency basis right now.

Pablo Ozuna will only be available in an emergency until further notice, according to the Daily Southtown. On Friday, he aggravated a hamstring that he strained days earlier, though he hadn't informed the White Sox trainers about the injury. "He should have told me, 'I don't feel 100 percent,' " manager Ozzie Guillen said. "We can deal with that. We were lucky the thing was no worse. Every player counts for me. This kid is important for us. He won't be back until he's 100 percent."

Pablo Ozuna left Friday's game when he strained his left hamstring running down the first-base line, according to the AP. No futher information is known on Ozuna's status. He was replaced by Scott Podsednik.

Pablo Ozuna was available Thursday after being sidelined since Sunday with a sore left hamstring, according to the Daily Southtown. However, he never entered Thursday's game against the Pirates.
