Pablo Ozuna, coming back from a broken leg, took batting practice Tuesday, but manager Ozzie Guillen still isn't sure when to expect Ozuna back in the lineup. "He's shooting to at least play one game before the season is over," Guillen said in the Chicago Sun-Times. "I will be proud and happy to do that. I'm waiting for him when he tells me he's ready to play."

Pablo Ozuna had his first outdoor workout Tuesday since fracturing his leg, taking ground balls on the grass and flips in the batting cage. It's still not clear, though, if Ozuna will be able to return at some point in September, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The first step is getting back his range of motion, head trainer Herm Schneider told the Sun-Times.

Pablo Ozuna underwent surgery to repair his right deltoid ligament and insert a plate and three screws into his broken right fibula on Monday. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Ozuna will miss at least three months. “Are we going to miss him? Yeah,” manager Ozzie Guillen said. “We’re going to miss him like any of the guys because he’s a big piece of the club. Now we have to move on. We’re not going to sit here and feel sorry for ourselves.”

Pablo Ozuna's appearance at shortstop Wednesday was his first there since 2005, the Chicago Tribune reports. Ozuna was a shortstop in the St. Louis organization in the late 1990s but has carved his niche with the Sox as a utility player. He played three games at short with Colorado in 2003 and 15 there with the Sox in 2005.
