A.J. Pierzynski will get Sunday off after playing all nine innings in the high 90s heat in Baltimore Saturday, according to the Chicago Sun-Time. Sandy Alomar Jr. will make the start in place of Pierzynski.

A.J. Pierzynski bowled over the Cubs' Michael Barrett at the plater in the second inning Saturday, touching off a bench-clearing brawl in which Barret punched Pierzynski in the face, according to the AP. Pierzynski was one of four players ejected from the game.
