Ryan Ludwick has cleared waivers and the Indians have sent him outright to Triple-A Buffalo. He was designated for assignment on Tuesday to make room for Juan Gonzalez on the roster.

The Indians designated Ryan Ludwick for assignment on Tuesday to make room for Juan Gonzalez on the roster. Ludwick is out of options so the Indians have 10 days to trade, release or place him on waivers. Ludwick was hitting .220 with four homers and five RBI in 19 games this year.
