Juan Rivera underwent surgery on Wednesday and had a rod and screws inserted into his leg to stabilize the fracture, according to the Angels website. He won't begin rehab for six-to-eight weeks, so it's pretty clear he won't be ready for the start of the season, but we don't have a timetable on how long he'll be out.

Juan Rivera will undergo surgery on his broken left leg Wednesday, according to Sports Network. Rivera broke the leg in a game in Venezuela last week. It isn't known whether Rivera will be ready by the beginning of the season, but it was originally estimated that he could be sidelined anywhere from three to eight months.
