Paul Hoover has been optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque, according to MLB.com. The Marlins needed to make room on the roster for Mike Rabelo, who has been activated from the DL. Hoover was solid in limited action this season, as he held a .429 average over seven at-bats, but he no longer holds any fantasy value, unless Rabelo or Matt Treanor get hurt.

The Marlins recalled Paul Hoover from Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday, according to the Sun-Sentinel. He was just optioned back down a couple of weeks ago, and was 2-for-4 in his brief stint with the team.
