Aubrey Huff is trying to work on being more upright in his stance in order to drive the ball more, according to the Baltimore Sun. Huff got the day off on Wednesday, having collected hits in just 15 of his last 89 at-bats.

Aubrey Huff tied a career-high with four hits as he hit for the cycle against the Angels Friday night. He also scored three runs and drove in three. Huff became the first Baltimore player to hit for the cycle since Cal Ripken in 1984.

Aubrey Huff ended a career-long home run drought at 143 at-bats with an opposite-field drive to left Wednesday, but he's still not driving the ball well, the AP reports. "Something about the home run swing, it's just not really coming this year. I can't really explain it," he said. Huff has five home runs this season; he hit 21 last year.

Aubrey Huff, hitting .214 over his past 18 games, did not start Saturday night, the AP reports. "He's pressing right now," manager Sam Perlozzo said. "He wants to do well so badly that it's probably wearing a little bit on him, so I thought I'd probably give him a blow and free his mind up a little bit. But he's going to be fine and he's going to be a big contributor. He's had probably the toughest luck of all of our hitters. I mean, he's hit some balls on the screws and has nothing to show for it. But if he keeps centering it, the hits will start falling for him."

The Baltimore Sun reports that Aubrey Huff is expected to get the most time in left field, with Jay Payton working as a fourth outfielder or working into a platoon with Corey Patterson in center. Huff and the O's formally completed their three-year, $20 million contract yesterday.
