A possible deal would include Mike Cameron and two of the following three players: Lastings Milledge, Aaron Heilman and Yusmeiro Petit. Ramirez is owed close to $60 million over the next three seasons.

"As long as he's under contract, his loyalty is to the Red Sox," agent Greg Genske said. "But if the Red Sox do want to trade him, the Angels are the most attractive option. Manny has a lot of respect for Orlando Cabrera and Vladimir Guerrero and for that organization." Manny also said he would welcome a trade to Cleveland.
