The Braves acquired Tim Hudson from the A's in exchange for Charles Thomas, Juan Cruz and minor league prospect Dan Meyer. Hudson should benefit from moving to the National League, and working with pitching coach Leo Mazzone can't hurt.

The A's may have Tim Hudson on the trading block, according to the San Jose Mercury News. One recent rumor was a deal with the Braves that would send Marcus Giles to Oakland for Hudson. The Cardinals also are believed to be interested in Hudson.
