Teams have showed a surprising amount of interest in trading for Kevin Mench, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The Orioles and Philles are reportedly two of the teams talking to the Brewers about a deal.

Kevin Mench was moved up to fifth in the batting order on Monday, the first time he'd batted that high since June 9, according to the Dallas Morning News. He went 1-for-3 with a walk. Prior to Monday's game, Mench had hits in 13 of his last 26 at-bats.

The Dallas Morning News reports that it looks like Kevin Mench has lost his job as the everyday right fielder. On Monday, Mark DeRosa started in right for the 11th time in the last 18 games. Since Ian Kinsler returned from the DL, Mench has been rotating between left field, right field and DH.
