As expected, the Marlins have traded Josh Beckett to the Red Sox, according to the Palm Beach Post. The Sox also get Mike Lowell and Guillermo Mota, while the Marlins pick up prospects Harvey Garcia, Hanley Ramirez, Anibal Sanchez and Jesus Delgado.

ESPN reports that the Marlins have agreed to a deal that would send Josh Beckett and Mike Lowell to the Red Sox in exchange for prospects Hanley Ramirez, Anibal Sanchez and another minor league pitcher. The deal is contingent on all players passing physicals and is not yet official.
