Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said he plans to play Chris Woodward a lot down the stretch to give Woodward a chance to prove he belongs as an everyday shortstop next season, according to the MLB.com. "He's got to take over the position or become a part-time guy. It's all about production, putting the best team on the field," Gibbons said. "I think there's a lot there that hasn't come out. He's got to do it, and he knows that. My heart tells me he will."
