Chris Woodward will start tonight's game, although the Mets haven't indicated where he will play, according to the New York Daily News.

Chris Woodward was in the lineup Tuesday night after fouling a pitch off his knee in the seventh inning of Monday's game, according to the AP. The knee was bruised and fluid had to be drained, but X-rays were negative. "I've never had anything like that. It swelled up pretty bad," Woodward said. "(The doctor) said it was OK, and that there wouldn't be any long-term effects. If I were at shortstop, it'd be a little different. But at first base I'll be able to get to the bag OK." Woodward went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts on the night.

Chris Woodward fouled a pitch off his left knee in the seventh inning yesterday, according to the New York Daily News. He departed for X-rays, which showed no break just a bruise. Woodward is listed as day-to-day.
