Ben Sheets allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits over seven innings in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Cardinals, with two walks and four strikeouts. The Brewers were losing 3-2 when he exited the game, and ended his night with a no decision as Ryan Braun rallied with a two-run homer in the ninth to put the Brewers on top.

Milwaukee Brewers ace Ben Sheets, the starter for the National League in tonight's game, is scheduled to throw two innings in tonight's game, according to the Denver Post.

Brewers' Ned Yost has been trying to set his rotation for the second half, but he has yet to make any definitive decisions, this according to the team website. Yost has said the when the team acquired C.C. Sabathia that Seth McClung and Dave Bush would be the odd men out, which one will fill the final slot has yet to be determined. "I'm still thinking about it," Yost said. "I'm thinking seriously about matching up. You look at the numbers, and you want to put each of them [Bush and McClung] in a position where they can be successful." Ben Sheets , who will start Tuesday's All Star game will pitch either Saturday or Sunday.

Ben Sheets may get the nod to start the All-Star game, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "We like Ben Sheets. He’s got the rest, he’s got the credentials, he’s got the pedigree," said Colorado manager Clint Hurdle, who will manage the National League squad.
