Michael Lamb rejoined the Astros on Monday after leaving the team for the birth of his child on Saturday, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Astros manager Charlie Garner has dubbed Michael Lamb the starter at third base over Morgan Ensberg, according to the Houston Chronicle. "Unfortunately for (Ensberg) and fortunately for us, I guess is one way of looking at it, Lamb has swung the bat really well," Garner said. "I'm going to continue to go with Lamb for a while. Hopefully it gives you another option."
