GM Omar Minaya said he "won't know about Cliff until he goes out there [today] for the workout and we get a feel for where he's at." Newsday reports that Cliff Floyd will undergo an untrasound of his kidneys today after a physical revealed above-normal creatinine and blood urea-nitrogen levels. Those are two early indicators of renal failure. Floyd's father needed a kidney transplant many years ago after serious problems. Floyd said that his kidneys are operating at 48-percent efficiency, and he is not expected to learn the results of this latest test until next Wednesday.
