Josh Fogg will be removed from the starting rotation in order to give more starts to Paul Maholm and Oliver Perez down the stretch, according to the AP. "I feel like it's pretty much written in stone now," Fogg said. "I don't know what they're thinking, but from the signs I'm getting, I don't feel like I'm in the plans for the future. It's unfortunate, I enjoy the organization and I've had a good time here but, right now, it doesn't look good." Fogg is 6-10 with a 4.97 ERA in 27 starts this year.

The Pirates announced that they will push Dave Williams back one day so that Josh Fogg can stay on normal rest. This means that Fogg will make his second start of the week on Sunday. Fogg allowed just two runs over 6 2/3 innings against the Cubs on Tuesday.
