Josh Fogg had arthroscopic surgery on Monday to remove bones spurs from his right elbow, according to the AP. The team said he's expected to make a full recovery. The Rockies have until Dec. 12 to offer a contract to Fogg, who is eligible for arbitration.

The Rockies aren't sure if they'll have Josh Fogg start any more games this season, according to the Rocky Mountain News. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings Saturday and has not pitched more than five innings in his past six starts. "We are having conversations about (Fogg's spot)," manager Clint Hurdle said. "Do we have one of the young kids take his spot? We could stay with five (starters). Justin Hampson will start (tonight), and then we will talk about the rest of the season."

Josh Fogg showed improvement in the condition of his sore left Achilles tendon and left hamstring when he played catch yesterday, according to the Denver Post. Whether he will make his scheduled start Sunday won't be determined until he throws a bullpen session on Saturday.

Josh Fogg could miss his scheduled start on Sunday with a sore left Achilles tendon, according to the Denver Post. "The Achilles thing has been there all year. I usually don't throw that many pitches," said Fogg, whose 97 pitches in his last start represented his second-highest total of the season. "I don't think it should keep me out." If Fogg is unable to go, Miguel Asencio, who is currently at Triple-A, is the most likely replacement.

On Sunday, Josh Fogg took part in his first exhibition game since straining his groin March 8, according to the Denver Post. He had a perfect game into the fifth inning before allowing a homer in that inning and the sixth. Fogg looked good enough to remain in competition with Zach Day and Sun-Woo Kim for the No. 5 spot in the rotation.
