When Cesar Izturis is ready to return from his Tommy John surgery sometime around the All-Star break, he may not have a starting job to return to, according to the LA Daily News. New Dodgers GM Ned Colletti said that "barring anything unforeseen," Normar Garciaparra will play first base and Jeff Kent second base all year, perhaps pushing Izturis to a utility role.
