The Palm Beach Post reports that Matt Treanor underwent surgery Wednesday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. "We thought it was the rotator cuff," he said. "It ended up the rotator was fine but the labrum was bad." Treanor should be ready for spring training.

The Sun-Sentinel reports that Matt Treanor had MRIs Thursday on both knees and his left shoulder. Results of the tests confirmed that he will require arthroscopic surgery on the shoulder and left knee. The procedures likely will be performed this month.
