Alfredo Amezaga was held out of the Marlins' starting lineup Sunday because he was hit on the left knee during Saturday's contest, according to the Sun-Sentinel. "It was swollen and sore [Sunday] morning," said Amezaga, who appeared as a pinch-runner in the ninth inning Sunday.

Even though Alfredo Amezaga has made eight straight starts in center field, he likely won't make too many more, as Reggie Abercrombie is almost ready to recapture his starting role, according to the Marlins website. Amezaga is batting .276 with two HR, nine RBI, and four SB on the season.
