Alfredo Amezaga is getting the bulk of the work in center field and as the team’s leadoff hitter. Amezaga is technically in a platoon with Reggie Abercrombie, but Amezaga plays against right-handed pitchers, according to the Miami Herald.

With Cody Ross placed on the disabled list, Alfredo Amezaga should see the majority of the action in center field for the Marlins. Amezaga is hitting .244 with a homer and eight RBI in 78 at-bats this season.
