With Jorge Posada on the DL the Yankees decided to bring back Chad Moeller signing him to a contract on Wednesday, according to the AP. To make room on the roster Chris Stewart was sent to Scranton Wilkes Barre.

Chad Moeller is expected to make another start at catcher for the Yankees tonight as they battle the rival Red Sox, according to the Boston Globe. He will bat ninth in the order, and Jorge Posada will notably handle the DH role.

Chad Moeller is penciled in to start at catcher tonight against Tampa Bay, according to ESPN.com. As previously reported, his contract was purchased from Triple-A Scranton today. Jorge Posada remains limited by his shoulder strain.
