The Brewers inked Chad Moeller to a one-year deal Wednesday worth $700,000, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "It was important to me that I came back to Milwaukee," said Moeller. "I didn't want to deal with arbitration or a possible non-tender (of a 2006 contract). I'm totally satisfied with what my contract is."

The Brewers expect Chad Moeller to be available this weekend after leaving last night's game in the fifth inning with a bruised right index finger, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Chad Moeller left Thursday's game with a bruised index finger after being hit on the hand during a bunt attempt, according to the AP. Moeller is day-to-day. He is hitting .210 with seven home runs and 23 RBI on the season.
