Catcher Chad Moeller will be called up by the Yankees on Monday, according to New York Newsday. He had been with the team until they acquired Ivan Rodriguez. Left-handed pitcher Phil Coke will also join the team.

Chad Moeller was awarded the start at catcher on Monday, and recorded the Yankees' lone RBI in a 6-1 loss to Baltimore. He went 1-for-2 with a walk.

With Jorge Posada on the DL the Yankees decided to bring back Chad Moeller signing him to a contract on Wednesday, according to the AP. To make room on the roster Chris Stewart was sent to Scranton Wilkes Barre.
