The Indians have purchased the minor league contract of pitcher Juan Rincon from Triple-A Buffalo, according to the AP. The move fills a roster spot that was created when ace hurler CC Sabathia was dealt to Milwaukee. Manager Eric Wedge commented, "Hes showing a good arm, a good slider. He has tremendous late-inning experience, and this is a good opportunity to get him in the mix."

The Triple-A Bisons have activated Juan Rincon, according to the TribeTimeReport.com. The minor league club placed Ryan Mulhern on the DL, as a corresponding move.

Juan Rincon, who was designated for assignment by the Twins last week, has signed a minor league deal with the Indians, according to MLB.com. He will report to Triple-A Buffalo.
