Rockies manager Clint Hurdle said there have been no discussions about sending Jason Jennings to Triple-A Colorado Springs, despite the pitcher's 10.57 ERA, according to the Rocky Mountain News. "It's been my experience in this game (that) it takes you time to get out of sorts, and it's going to take some time to get back in sorts," Hurdle said. Jason Jennings won\'t walk into spring training as the Rockies\' No. 1 starting pitcher, according to the Denver Post. "Why not name Jennings? Because we don\'t need to. The way we set up our rotation is not going to by fueled by the media or players\' whims, but rather competition," manager Clint Hurdle said. "Jason could end up in that role, but I don\'t see any benefit to doing anything right now."
