The Mets acquired Brian Schneider and Ryan Church from the Nats Friday in exchange for Lastings Milledge. Schneider hit just .235 with six homers and 54 RBI in 2007 with Washington. The Mets are likely to non-tender Johnny Estrada, which would leave the catching duties to Schneider and Ramon Castro.
