Aaron Harang, who is recovering from a strained right forearm, has been cleared to resume throwing by medical director Dr. Tim Kremchek, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Harang pitched from 70 feet on Tuesday, with no issues.

The Cincinnati Enquirer indicates that Aaron Harang should be back in about two weeks. His MRI confirmed that he has a right forearm strain, and he will be re-examined this weekend. GM Walt Jocketty commented, "We want to make sure he's 100 percent. But he should be ready at the end of the two weeks."

Updating an earlier report, Aaron Harang will in fact end up being placed on the DL due to a strained muscle in his right forearm, according to MLB.com. "He won't be able to throw for at least a week, and then we'll build it back up," Reds general manager Walt Jocketty said.

That was a strong outing for the Reds' ace pitcher, and he lowered his ERA to 2.14. His strikeouts were down today, but fantasy owners have to pleased with his performance.

Harang now owns a 2.77 ERA and 12 K over his first 13 innings, and he should continue to post one solid outing after another for the Reds this season as one of the most overlooked top tier pitchers in the game.
