Garret Anderson enters the post-season healthy after having a major issue with his vision in last years playoffs, according to the Angels Official Website. Last season he was suffering from a case of conjunctivitis that made it almost impossible for him to see out of his right eye.

Anderson said, "If I'm hurting the team, yeah, put me in a different spot. I'm up to the challenge. I know where I want to hit in the lineup. It's just that overall, it's not happening right now. I don't get too cerebral or think about it a lot. I know I can hit, and I don't worry about it happening. The only thing that frustrates me is I'm hitting in a position in the lineup and I'm letting the team down in certain areas. That's what I'm upset about." Manager Mike Sciosca is not giving up on struggling cleanup hitter Garret Anderson, according to the LA Times. Anderson is only hitting .244 over 86 at-bats, and is currently in a six-for-36 slump. Sciosca commented, "If it helps a player to get out of a role for a while and hit him in a different grouping, you do it. But right now, we don't see that. We have a lot of confidence Garret will contribute. He drove in more runs than anybody in the game in the second half last year. There's a history there that he's going to be very productive."
